Senate Committee To Take Testimony on Pinnacol Bills Today

Over the summer, lawmakers, experts and citizens met to look into Pinnacol Assurance, the state’s workers’ compensation insurer of last resort.  The Pinnacol Interim Committee suggested draft legislation which lowers premiums, increases transparency and protects injured workers covered by Pinnacol Assurance.  Sen. Morgan Carroll, D-Aurora, chair of the Pinnacol Interim Committee, has invited injured workers to testify today at 1:30 p.m. in Senate Judiciary Committee in Senate Committee Room 356.
